A paver job is a base job

Pavers do not sink because the pavers are bad. They sink because the base was thin or the edges were not restrained. We build to depth, compact in lifts, and lock the perimeter properly.

Choose from a range of shapes, colors and laying patterns, with soldier courses and contrasting borders to frame the space. Polymeric sand keeps the joints tight and the weeds out.

What's included

  • Excavation and compacted base in lifts
  • Bedding sand screeded to grade
  • Pattern layout with soldier-course border
  • Edge restraint on all open sides
  • Polymeric joint sand, swept and set
  • Permeable options for drainage-sensitive areas

Pavers - common questions

Do pavers hold up in Arkansas freeze-thaw?

Yes, when the base is done right. The key is compaction in lifts and proper edge restraint. Without those, pavers will heave and settle within a few winters.

Pavers vs. stamped concrete - which is better?

Both work well. Pavers are easier to repair (pull and replace individual units) but have joints for weeds. Stamped concrete is monolithic with no joints, but can't be spot-repaired. We install both and can help you choose.
